AMSOIL Saber Professional Pre-Mix 2 Cycle Oil
is formulated with exclusive AMSOIL Synthetic Base Oils and Premium Additives. Designed for lean mix ratios in two cycle motors, Saber Professional has excellent lubricity and cleanliness properties to control friction and help prevent wear, plug fouling and ring sticking.
Saber Professional has a recommended MIX RATIO OF 100:1, even when the application calls for a ratio of 50:1. Its high quality base oils resist consumption and evaporation better than conventional two-cycle oils. The combination of premium base oil chemistry and superior additive technology allows Saber Professional to deliver maximum performance and protection in small engine applications: even at 100:1. OUTSTANDING!!!!
Two Stroke Lubricated ?
Two-stroke motors have what are considered total-loss lubricating systems. Because the crankcase is part of the intake process, it cannot act as an oil sump like on four-stroke engines. Lubricating traditional two-stroke
engines is achieved by mixing the oil with the fuel. The oil is burned upon combustion of the air/fuel mixture.
Direct injection engines are different because the fuel is directly injected into the combustion chamber while the oil is injected directly into the crankcase. This process is efficient because the fuel is injected after the exhaust port closes, and therefore more complete combustion of fuel occurs and more power is developed. Direct injection engines have a higher power density than traditional two-stroke engines. Because the oil is direct injected into the crankcase, less oil is necessary and lower oil consumption results. They also require more lubricity than traditional two-stroke engines.
Smokeless
AMSOIL Saber 2-Cycle Oil
is a 100:1 mix, but will work in anything that requires more oil, except marine,( they have a 100:1 mix for marine too.) Instead of having smokey 2-cycle equipment, use this – it’s smokeless. Another nice quality of this oil is less wear, plug fouling prevention, less ring sticking and less exhaust port blocking.
AMSOIL did a test at a logging camp using six brand new Stil chainsaws. Three used Stil oil and three used AMSOIL Saber 100:1 mix. At the end of 200 hours, they were torn down and checked for wear. The AMSOIL saws had less wear and fuel use, and no smoke. What a deal – less wear and no smoke, better for the environment.
Synthetic 2-Cycle
Today’s high-stress, high-revving, two-cycle motorcycle engines demand superior lubrication for optimal performance. Two-cycle engines in motorcycles are frequently pushed to severe operating conditions and abuse, which results in high engine temperatures and dirty operating conditions.
AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils are formulated to provide maximum protection and performance in two-cycle gasoline engines. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils control engine operating temperatures, increase power output and keep engines cleaner than petroleum oils. They are designed to provide maximum oxidation protection, excellent anti-corrosive characteristics and improved operation in low temperatures.
Pre-Mix 100:1
Equipment manufacturers and motor builders have redesigned two-cycle motors to reduce emissions and increase fuel economy. These changes have increased operating temperatures, reduced oil consumption and incorporated direct fuel injection and exhaust power valves. AMSOIL 2-Cycle Oils are designed to maximize performance in all types of engine designs and are optimized for select applications.
Even though AMSOIL 2-Cycle Oils have been optimized for specific applications, they are multi-functional and recommended for use in many areas. Saber Professional 100:1 mix is a excellent choice for chain saws, lawn mowers, weedeaters, mopeds, scooters and go-carts, and it’s smokeless, and it’s cost-effective compared to oils mixed at 50:1 or richer. Lean mix ratio helps prevent plug fouling and exhaust port deposits. One mix ratio for everything eliminates confusion. At 100:1 produce lower emissions than oils mixed at 50:1.
The advantages of 2 Cycle oil
The great thing about 2 cycle synthetic oil is that it leaves less combustion byproducts when it’s used. That means there is less clog in the ports and will not effect the performance of the engine when using this synthetic oil. Many times you can find pre-mixed ratios that will help you so that you do not have to measure yourself.
Another thing about these 2 cycle oils is that it takes less overall oil to do the job. When your using less oil you are burning less oil through the exhaust. The thing about burning less oil is that 2 cycle oil will not be as dangerous to the water when using it in a outboard motor. Another popular way to use it is on a snowmobile and when using the 2 cycle oil the engine will start faster under those rough conditions when its cold outside.
