With AMSOIL in its third year as the Official Oil of the world famous rally, the company’s visibility was larger than ever.

A large AMSOIL banner once again greeted visitors as they entered town on Junction Avenue, and with 90 AMSOIL signs gracing the many barricades located throughout the downtown area, the AMSOIL logo was impossible to miss. There was also a great display of AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil and products.

Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short drives. Rust can cause major damage such as roller bearing failure, uncontrolled wear, compression loss and blow-by. Good rust protection, however, comes by design and is not natural to engine oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil contains special anti-rust agents.

The results of extensive research, they are specially formulated to excel in all areas unique to motorcycles, including the high temperatures of air-cooled engines (such as Harley-Davidson V-Twins), wet-clutch lubrication, extreme-pressure regions of gears and chains and rust common to short trips and storage.

These multi-functional oils lived up to the hype and AMSOIL proved it by publishing the most thorough study of motorcycle oils ever produced. As more motorcyclists spread the word about the performance benefits of AMSOIL synthetic motorcycle oils, the demand for a complete line of motorcycle lubrication products increased.

Bikers experience first-hand the mechanical stress their motorcycles endure. Modern bikes demand lubricants that protect against high internal engine heat, maintain film strength on gears under extreme pressure and guard against rust formation during storage. Motorcycles rev high and run hot, and lubrication failure could result in consequences for both vehicles and passengers. In addition, motorcyclists invest a great deal of time and money into their bikes, and they demand products that provide the best performance and protection for their investments.

AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oils deliver maximum viscosity protection for hot-running American and foreign motorcycle engines, transmissions and chain cases. Their exclusive synthetic formulations effectively reduce friction and heat, keeping bikes running cooler and minimizing oil consumption.
