Synthetic OilMost people think if a bottle of oil says it’s synthetic, it’s a true synthetic oil. Not so. Some companies just refine petroleum oil to it’s highest level. Although not chemically engineered, they offer improved performance in a wide range of areas as well as good molecular uniformity and stability.

A true Synthetic oil is a chemically engineered synthesized base stock, which offers excellent stability, molecular uniformity and hence improved performance and mileage. The properties of petroleum oil tend to vary due to variations in the crude from which they are obtained. On the other hand, chemically engineered Synthetic oil are very predictable when evaluating their properties and performance. Once again, this is due to their molecular uniformity.
