Multi Purpose
AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer is a multi purpose liquid product that is ideal for all around use on flowers, vegetables, fruits, lawns, shrubs, trees and field crops. Now, with our new odor absorbing ingredient, AGGRAND is perfect for house plants as well!
AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer provides nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (N-P-K) in a 4-3-3 ratio. These essential nutrients promote vigorous growth, increased root development and improved disease and stress tolerance.
Low Levels
Applying low levels of natural nutrients such as fish , kelp, humates and corn gluten meal stimulates the proliferation of microbes and earthworms, which readily consume nutrients before they can reach lakes. As the creatures in the soil multiply, they excrete nutrients and die or are consumed, digested and excreted by other organisms, slowly releasing nutrients as plants need them.
Nitrogen and phosphate are present in all ecosystems, and nature knows how to hold them and make them readily available when they are needed. Fertilization in itself is not inherently bad, but the type and amount of fertilization is the key to producing healthy lawns and eliminating water pollution.
Lawn Care
Traditional lawn fertilization practices can lead to surface and ground water pollution. Even when applied at the recommended rates, highly concentrated chemical fertilizers cause water pollution when a heavy rain or too much irrigation follows soon after application. In addition, many homeowners do not calibrate their fertilizer spreaders or throw fertilizer on their lawns by hand, leading to nitrogen and phosphate loading in lakes.
While banning the application of certain nutrients can reduce pollution problems, a more feasible solution is the use of more sustainable practices and natural products. For example, the recycling of nutrients through the return of grass clippings (using a mulching mower) stimulates soil biological activity and supplies at least two pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 square feet per year without causing any pollution.
Frigid Conditions
In frigid conditions, motorists often idle vehicles for extended periods to warm the interiors and defrost the windows. Not only can the practice be inconvenient, it wastes fuel as well.
AMSOIL Dominator Coolant Boost uses proprietary tiered surfactant technology to provide quick and effective heat transfer inside radiator and cylinder heads, resulting in faster engine warm up times. As a result, vehicle interiors warm more quickly and the defroster becomes effective sooner.
Temperature Drops
Diesel applications can be especially sensitive to cold weather issues. As the temperature drops, the wax naturally found in diesel fuel begins to form crystals. The point at which wax crystals form is known as the cloud point. These wax crystals eventually clog the fuel filter and starve the engine of fuel preventing it from starting.
While low quality fuels may form wax crystals in temperatures as warm as 40F, most fuels have a cloud point near 32F. The point at which the wax crystals clog the fuel filter is known as the cold filter plugging point (CFPP). AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver reduces the CFPP of ultra low sulfur diesel fuel by as much as 20F for increased protection.
Lubricants Thicken
Conventional petroleum lubricants thicken because they often contain paraffins (wax). While modern refining techniques remove most of the wax from petroleum oil, some wax like molecules remain. These wax like molecules are soluble at ambient temperatures above freezing, but crystallize into a honeycomb like structure at lower temperatures and cause circulation problems. At start up, this can leave working parts unprotected while the lubricant warms to a temperature that allows it to flow.
AMSOIL Synthetic Lubricants do not contain paraffins. They provide outstanding low temperature fluidity for fast, dependable winter starts; quick, responsive shifts and immediate start up protection.
Cold Weather Performance
Extreme cold can cause conventional motor oil, transmission fluid and gear lube to thicken, starving vital moving parts of necessary lubrication. In many cases, thick motor oil will prevent vehicles from starting. Cold, thick transmission fluid results in delayed or sluggish shifts and inadequate protection for bearings, valves and other critical parts.
Thick gear lube, meanwhile, requires more energy to turn the gears, reducing fuel efficiency. Because gears and bearings in the axle housing are splash lubricated, conventional gear lubes that are too thick at cold temperatures can starve internal components of lubrication, which can cause excessive wear and premature failure.
Extended Drain
The number of people taking advantage of the cost savings and convenience of AMSOIL extended drain interval products grows every year, but the 3,000 mile myth is still deeply ingrained in many drivers. The thought of running for 25,000 miles or a whole year without changing oil is scary for people who have not safely extended drain intervals before. To help get over this hurdle, The drain interval recommendations for AMSOIL Motor Oils are determined according to the vehicle’s typical operating conditions and the type of oil being used.
For example, drain interval recommendations for AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil differ depending on service type: The recommendation is 25,000 miles in normal service, 15,000 miles in severe service. Drivers need to keep an accurate count of miles or hours on the oil, depending on the type of oil used, and oils should never be used beyond one year of service unless recommended by a routine oil analysis program. Engines that are not mechanically sound or are heavily modified are not eligible to take advantage of AMSOIL extended drain interval recommendations.
Logger Tested
AMSOIL Synthetic 100:1 2 Cycle Oils have been providing improved performance and protection in two cycle motors since 1973. However, there are still consumers who struggle with the notion that Saber provides optimum protection at 100:1 when the equipment manufacturer has specified a 50:1 mix ratio. In order to once again demonstrate the superiority of AMSOIL Synthetic 2 Cycle Oils, AMSOIL provided a logging company with six Stihl 440 chainsaws. Three of the saws were operated using the manufacturer recommended two cycle oil at the recommended mix ratio (50:1). The other three saws had AMSOIL Saber Professional installed at a mix ratio of 100:1. The loggers used all six saws as they normally would for 200 hours.
After the test period the saws were subjected to a detailed engine teardown to determine how well Saber performed. As expected, the teardown revealed that the chainsaws using AMSOIL Saber Professional at a mix of 100:1 had fewer deposits, LESS WEAR and were generally cleaner than the saws that operated using the manufacturer recommended two cycle oil mixed at 50:1. In addition, the chainsaws with Saber installed used an average of 8% less fuel than the saws running conventional oil at 50:1.
Professional Protection
AMSOIL Saber Professional Pre Mix 2 Cycle Oil is formulated with EXCLUSIVE AMSOIL Synthetic Base Oils and Premium Additives. Designed for lean mix ratios in two cycle motors, Saber Professional has excellent lubricity and cleanliness properties to control friction and help prevent wear, plug fouling and ring sticking.
Saber Professional has a recommended mix ratio of 100:1, even when the application calls for a ratio of 50:1 gas to oil. Its high quality base oils resist consumption and evaporation better than conventional two cycle oils. The combination of premium base oil chemistry and superior additive technology allows Saber Professional to deliver maximum performance and protection in small engine applications; even at 100:1.
